Short version: Manaaki is a personal planning tool, not a bank and not an adviser. It shows you your own numbers so you can make your own decisions.
What Manaaki is
Manaaki is a personal-instance finance planner — software run for the household that uses it. It is not a bank, it never holds a cent of your money, and it cannot move money anywhere. The plan lives here; the money stays in your real accounts.
There is no paid tier and nothing for sale. Access is by invitation to a household.
Information, not advice
Everything Manaaki shows you — dashboards, projections, calculators, AI answers — is general information computed from your own numbers. It is not financial advice, tax advice, or credit assistance. Manaaki is not a registered financial adviser, tax agent, BAS agent, or credit assistance provider, and nothing in the app takes your personal circumstances into account the way a registered professional would. For decisions that matter, talk to one. The disclaimers page explains exactly where the line is drawn.
Your part
Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and tell us if you think an account has been compromised. The numbers in Manaaki are only as good as what flows in — imported feeds and manual entries included — so check figures against your bank before acting on them.
No warranty
Manaaki is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee either — feeds drop, projections are projections, and software has bugs. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for decisions made on the strength of what the app shows. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees that Australian Consumer Law says cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Anything that needs resolving gets resolved there.
