What Manaaki does
Run a household together without losing what's yours. Joint accounts for the shared life. Private buckets for what stays yours. Your partner literally cannot see your private spend. Not by promise. By design.
Manaaki adapts. Run your personal money, your shared household, and your sole-trader books from the same app. Switch modes from the top of any screen.
Ask anything, on any screen, in plain English. "Should I salary-sacrifice?" "Is it cheaper to rent or buy here?" "Will this bonus push me into a higher tax bracket?" Manaaki shows the working in numbers you can follow.
Manaaki watches your transactions for items the ATO will let you claim. Confirm or skip, on the spot. By July, your deductions are already lined up for your accountant — no shoebox.
Pick a day. Pick how often — weekly, fortnightly, monthly. Open Manaaki, see what moved, set what's next. Skip a week, skip a month — your numbers are still there when you come back.
How it works
Manaaki is the plan. Your bank is the money. We map the buckets, set the splits, lay out the rules. You set them up in your real bank in a few minutes. The plan lives here. The money moves there. You stay in control.
In Manaaki
In your bank
We never hold a cent of your money. No escrow, no holding account, no middleman. Manaaki is the planner. Your bank is the bank.
The ritual
Pick a day. Pick how often. Weekly, fortnightly, monthly — whatever fits your life. Open Manaaki, see what moved, set what's next. Skip a week. Skip a month. Pick it back up when you're ready.
10 minutes · one of you
Open Manaaki on your own. One short reflection: what moved, what's next, one thing to set down.
20 minutes · both of you
Walk the week together. Either of you can settle a big purchase. No comparisons in dollars.
Your cadence. Your call.
