Manaaki is not a bank

Manaaki is a software application that helps you view and plan your finances. We don't hold deposits, process payments, or provide banking services. We're not an authorised deposit-taking institution (ADI) regulated by APRA. Your money stays at your existing bank — we just help you see and organise it.

Not financial advice

The information, dashboards, projections, and suggestions displayed in Manaaki are general in nature. They don't constitute personal financial advice. We don't hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). Before making financial decisions, consider consulting a licensed financial adviser who can assess your personal circumstances.

Not tax advice

Tax estimates, BAS previews, and deduction suggestions are indicative only. We're not registered tax agents. The ATO is the only authoritative source for your tax obligations. Consult a registered tax agent before lodging returns or making decisions based on tax information shown in the app.

Not credit assistance

We don't recommend credit products or help you apply for loans. Any information about debt payoff timelines or interest savings is for illustration only. Consult a licensed credit provider or mortgage broker for credit-related decisions.

AI assistant limitations

The AI assistant in Manaaki is powered by large language models. While it can provide helpful information based on your financial data, it:

  • May make mistakes or misinterpret your data
  • Cannot guarantee accuracy of calculations or projections
  • Is not a substitute for professional advice
  • May not be aware of recent changes to laws or regulations

Always verify important financial information independently before acting on it.

Data accuracy

While we strive to display your financial data accurately:

  • Bank connections may experience delays or temporary outages
  • Transaction categorisation is automated and may be incorrect
  • Currency conversions use indicative rates, not live market rates
  • Balance figures may not reflect pending transactions at your bank

Always check with your bank or financial institution for authoritative account information.

Early access product

Manaaki is currently in early access. Features may change, be removed, or work differently than expected. We recommend:

  • Not relying solely on Manaaki for critical financial tracking
  • Keeping your own records as a backup
  • Reporting bugs or issues to help us improve
